A lounge room can be styled in a way that feels homely and comfortable, and not dominated by the TV. The trick is learning how to offset the dominance of the TV with other items around it. Whether your TV is a quaint 32” like mine or much bigger, there will always be the challenge of making the TV blend in to the surroundings, and not dominate the room when not in use.
Instead of creating a cabinet that literally hides the TV, consider the following three basic design tips, and you’ll be on your way to creating a room that you enjoy spending time in, and that works well for entertaining guests, whether the TV is on or off.
